Applus+ is excited to announce the opening of a new operations facility in the Cherry Creek district of Denver, Colorado. The new location will operate as the first collaborative office for the Applus+ Engineering and Consulting Group in North America and will provide services from both Kiefner and Associates, Inc. (HQ: Columbus, Oh) and SKC Engineering (HQ: Surrey, British Columbia).
With a grand opening slated for June 1st, the new facility affords the Applus+ engineering team close proximity to clients headquartered in Colorado and reduces response times when serving clients and their assets in the Western United States. Trae Miller, Vice President of Applus+ Engineering and Consulting - North America, remarked on the company’s development in the region, “We are excited to be expanding our operations into the Western United States. This office is the first combined North America Engineering office providing high-quality, integrated services from two of Applus+’ most respected brands: Kiefner and Associates, Inc. and SKC Engineering, LTD. “
With over 30 years of experience, Kiefner specializes in asset integrity and risk-based services while SKC offers over 20 years of experience providing advanced welding engineering and crane inspections. Both companies offer materials laboratory services, custom engineering algorithms, machine learning, and data analytics solutions to service the onshore, offshore, marine, power, and renewables industries.
With the largest and most accurate pipeline database in the world, the Applus+ Engineering and Consulting Group also provides cutting edge solutions to fill in operational data gaps with a high level of confidence - often without costly excavation. Through its engineering firms, Applus+ will continue to expand its innovative, customized solutions for almost every energy sub-market.
