Our Verification of Conformity service ensures all local import requirements are met so shipments can clear customs at their destination. 

Applus+ Fomento Controle has a variety of conformity verification programs. Each of these programs guarantees compliance with quality and safety standards under the regulations of the country of import. In this way, we are protecting consumers and the environment, as well as the image of the exporter.

Our commitment to our clients is clear. We issue a Certificate of Conformity (COC) as quickly as possible to ensure both the quality and safety of shipments and a smooth customs clearance process.

We assess conformity before shipping. Firstly, we look closely at the documentation and take samples that are tested in a laboratory. We then make a physical inspection of the goods.

Our teams work on the ground, are ready to go into action, and can help customers navigate local processes speedily, accurately, and as efficiently as possible.

Once all conformity criteria have been fulfilled, we issue the mandatory certificate required by the authorities at the port of entry. Showing a certificate of conformity means shipments will not be rejected, and the importer can then clear its merchandise.
